Birthdays, Cake Pops and a Downtown Garden

I know, I know... I'm a slacker at blogging, but I'm back now and want to share what I've been up to the past two weeks. Here it goes!

Two weeks ago my girlfriends and I celebrated our very smart and beautiful friend, Dana, as she turned 28. We spent the day pool-side at Dana's condo chowin' down on some great Trader Joe appetizers while sipping on Skinny Girl Margaritas. We also got to enjoy some cake pops that my mom and I made the night before - Which were so easy to make and pretty darn scrumptious!

That day I also had the pleasure of meeting sweet little, (I want to eat your cute little feet) Ryland, for the first time. For those of you who don't know, my dear friend Kylie recently had her first baby (on my birthday!) this past year. It is so crazy to think that my friends and I are at that stage in our lives to start families - but I must say, Mrs. Kylie makes it look easy!

The lil' cutie and I.

Ryland and the ladies going for a dip! He is such a stud.

Had such a blast catching up with the gals!

This past weekend I headed up to Portland and had a very productive weekend with The Pilot. We shopped, cleaned, picked up new potted flowers for the deck and somehow managed to have a relaxing afternoon at the pool.

Since we moved into our new place I've been insisting that we get flowers for our deck to "warm" the area up.....and so we did. Here are some pictures of our new "downtown garden".

And the finished products!

Hope you all are having a wonderful week!

Love,
